B&B il Bassotto Roma
A due passi da S. Pietro,
il B&B ha tre camere climatizzate, due matrimoniali, di cui una con terrazzo e una camera singola,
molto confortevoli e pulite, ciascuna con bagno privato, Wii Fii e TV.
Bus per il centro a 20 mt da casa.
Questo raffinato bed & breakfast si trova nella zona immediatamente adiacente al Vaticano ed è quindi una sistemazione particolarmente comoda e al tempo stesso tranquilla per chi viene a Roma per turismo.
L'abitazione si trova al terzo piano (con ascensore) ed è stata recentemente riammobiliata e restaurata prendendo spunto dalle più recenti tendenze di arredamento.
Le camere a disposizione sono tre, tutte con nomi di venti poiché il padrone di casa ama la vela.
La camera Levante, così come la camera Maestrale, è matrimoniale ed ha il bagno interno (con doccia).
Tutta giocata nei toni del bianco-marrone e nero ha pavimenti di marmo di Carrara.
La camera Levante ha inoltre un balcone.
La camera Ponente è invece singola, con pavimento in parquet, ed ha anch'essa il bagno interno (con doccia). L'appartamento offre una linea Internet WiFi (senza fili), aria condizionata e televisione in ciascuna camera.
Dall'appartamento si può raggiungere San Pietro e i Musei Vaticani anche con una breve passeggiata (circa 1,5 km). Con i mezzi pubblici che passano vicino all'abitazione, o con una passeggiata un poco più lunga, si raggiunge invece il centro storico, Piazza Navona e Campo de'Fiori. Procedendo nell'altra direzione, consigliamo di non mancare una visita al grande parco di Villa Pamphili. Nella casa vive un simpatico bassotto che sarà tenuto lontano dalle camere da letto.
There are 3 confortable and very clean guest rooms
(2 have queen size beds, 1 has single bed);
each with en suite bathroom, air con.,TV, Wii Fii and breakfast. One room has a terrace.
The bus stop to downtown is at mt 20 from home.
This newly established and elegantly decorated B&B is located in a residential section of Rome near the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. It has three guest rooms each with its own private bathroom. The host, being a sailor, has identified each of the rooms with a name of a sailing wind.
The "Maestrale" room has a queen size bed, lots of closet space, wi-fi connection, a TV set, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower.
The "Levante" room also has a queen size bed, lots of closet space, wi-fi connection, a TV set, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower. This room has also a private balcony.
The third room, the "Ponente," has a single bed, closet space, wi-fi connection, a TV set, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower.
The hospitable host speaks good English and will be pleased to assist with information for a pleasant vacation in Rome. There is a small and friendly dog (a dachshund) in the house but he will be kept away from the guest rooms.
The B & B is just off the main road, Via Gregorio VII. A 10-15 minute walk reaches The Vatican, St. Peter's and Castel San Angelo and a 20 minute walk reaches the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel.
Another very short walk away is the Villa Pamphilli and the wonderful, panoramic view of Rome from the Gianicolo Hill.
The historic Center of Rome is a short bus ride (or a 20-30 minute walk along the Tiber) to such historic sights as
Piazza Navona, Campo dei' Fiori, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia and other equally famous sights.
The entire area is well connected with many buses to all areas.
